Peaceful stay — simple, well-equipped cottage surrounded by nature. We loved our stay at Otter’s Creek! The cottage is simple but has everything you need for a relaxing break. The stoep was our favourite spot — peaceful, surrounded by nature, and perfect for morning coffee or evening chats. We’d happily come back!

Beautiful location. Otter’s Creek is positioned in the most beautiful area on the banks of a river along which you can swim, walk or canoe. The house is just a short walk from the beach and is surrounded by trees and bird life. Our host was very accommodating. There was a 7-night minimum stay when we booked. The house inside and furnishings are in serious need of an upgrade and some TLC. The couches are old and uncomfortable. The single beds in the back room are unstable, the curtains are hanging by a thread, etc. The tiny open-plan kitchen area is not sufficient for an 8-sleeper house and curiously, the main fridge is placed under the stairwell on the other side of the house. The only shower available is outside, which makes it uncomfortable to access during rainy weather. Overall, Otter’s Creek location cannot be faulted and we enjoyed access to the surrounding nature and Pringle Bay.

Quiet, auction and great service. All I can say is tranquility and great service. The staff was always available if we needed help. Would recommend Otters Creek anytime.

Wonderful. Minimalistic, relaxing and fun. We visited the accommodation with two young children, aged 9 and 11. The accommodation is right on the water with amazing views. The kids loved swimming in the creek and the swing over the water. The canoeing to the beach was amazing. The host always responded to any inquiries. The fireplace at night was great for family time and atmosphere. We will be going back in the future.

It was absolutely delicious! We had a wonderful stay and Brian and his wife were so hospitable! The loft section is quite noisy and I would possibly recommend letting children sleep downstairs! Even with hours of load shedding, the children played wonderfully and we felt very safe.
