It was very pleasant, neat and clean. We really enjoyed the break and time away. The braai areas are in need of attention, as well as the water temperature not being consistently warm in chalet 50. Please consider delivering 1 toilet roll a day to each chalet as opposed to 1 for a weekend (long weekend), considering the number of people in a chalet. Lovely tree-filled area with tame rabbits and chickens close to the city and sea. We camped. It was nice although our nice neighbors chatted late into the night. Friends of ours slept in a bush camp tent (R48) which luckily could be upgraded on Saturday to a 4-sleeper cottage which was lovely. Both were very clean and beautiful, but the bush camp (sleeps 2) door was very low and they had to stoop to enter. Would not recommend it for older people. Tents and bathrooms are a bit on the older side. The swimming pool is great, although a bit difficult (metal narrow steps) to get in and out of (if you are older).
