We had an excellent 1 night stay at Paardefontein. There are a couple of gates to get through and the crossing of the railway line, but we received good directions from the host. Not a road for sedan cars. You need a high clearance vehicle as the road is about 8 to 10 km long. But you won't be disappointed. Fairly new cottages with everything you need. Breathtaking and relaxing. It was absolutely fantastic! The views are spectacular. The stars at night are a sight to behold. The escape from the busy lifestyle is highly recommended. We will definitely be returning to Paardefontein Karoo Stay.

Beautifully appointed chalet with lovely crisp linen and a very comfortable bed. Hosts are a delight and were there to greet us soon after our arrival.
