Comfortable, scenic and spacious. Our family were very comfortable at Paardefontein Karoo Stay. The property was secure, secluded and surrounded by natural beauty. The cottage was spacious and warmed up so quickly once we got the fire going. The kitchen was well-equipped and the bathrooms had spacious showers and lovely soap and shampoo provided. We would have loved a bath for the kids though, and so would only visit short-term while our kids are little.

We had an excellent 1 night stay at Paardefontein. There are a couple of gates to get through and the crossing of the railway line, but we received good directions from the host. Not a road for sedan cars. You need a high clearance vehicle as the road is about 8 to 10 km long. But you won't be disappointed. Fairly new cottages with everything you need.
