Absolutely perfect spot to visit. Paddahoek was a magical surprise - very quiet and tranquil, yet close to amenities and super easy to access. Jonathan and his team at African Spaces went above and beyond to ensure that this trip was comfortable, and he connected me with people in the community. Overall, this was a refreshing and memorable experience. I would love to return someday.

Much enjoyed the cottage and walks in the area. Did not enjoy a broken bathroom. Accommodation information is a bit misleading (see below). It should be clearer that the loft has low cross beams (you have to bend over to avoid a klap on the head), and up an almost vertical ladder. Also, make clear that there is no shower inside - only outside (nice if it is not cold). The bathroom basin has a hole in it which we discovered when it leaked all over the floor! It needs replacement. Other than this, it is a lovely peaceful spot.

Enjoyable. Mats next to the bed would be great so your feet don't freeze. A mirror in the bedroom area would help. Somewhere to hang clothes.

Peaceful, tranquil, hassle free. Peaceful. Loved the tranquil nature area and staying in such a lovely old stone cottage that has been very cleverly and thoughtfully upgraded to bring electricity and make it more comfortable.
