Very comfortable farm stay at Panorama Farm. We had a very comfortable stay at Chalet 1, king size bed and crispy quality linen, and for the grandkids a separate bedroom with 2 single beds. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you might need. Lauren and Alwyn are always ready to help, also for the birders. This is a place to go, and they will both be able to guide you around the farm on request.

Tranquil. Enjoyed our stay in a comfortable cottage. The grounds were very peaceful, and security is well provided for. The children made good use of the playground and tennis court. The property is well off the main road, but the gravel road was mostly well maintained. The three gates over the course of the road caught us by surprise.

Birding paradise. Lauren made our stay very comfortable. We were a family of 11 adults and we were able to use the common area to "kuier". There is a pool table (bring your own chalk), a tennis court with two rackets and balls. There is a built-in braai, gas top stove and a fridge freezer all in the common area. This spot is off grid, so no ovens are available. Also, if you do have cold water for your shower (as this is a self-sufficient farm and water pressure is sometimes low), speak to your hosts to switch on the pump to maintain water pressure for the gas geysers. Don't suffer and then write a poor review! There is hot water! We had two of the cottages and four of the rooms. Each place was clean and met every need that we as a family had. The rooms don't have a mini fridge in them. This is a dog-friendly spot. The two cottages we stayed at had a fence around them. I wouldn't recommend a large breed. Although it's a nice cordoned-off area, it will be too small for a high-energy, large dog. If you are a family that is heavy users of water and power, this is not the place for you. Also, if you like clean lines and a classy modern look, this is also not the place for you. These places are comfortable, clean and have classic old furniture. If you are a "birder", you must make the effort to stay here! We saw a fish eagle, martial eagle, violet starling, Kurrichane thrush, turaco (red wing) and so many more! Sitting having a coffee and enjoying the bird life was special.

Perfect, we had a lovely time, kids enjoyed every ounce of our stay there. Naomi is what you need after a long travel. She is a lovely lady, she cares about her guests and checks on them by phone while you are travelling to her place. She is hands-on with her guests.
