Description
Paquita Cottage is a self-catering holiday house situated in The Heads, Knysna, Western Cape. Accessed via 5 flights of wooden stairs, the property boasts panoramic views over the Knysna Lagoon and is ideally located for exploring local nature reserves, hiking trails, water activities, and seasonal whale watching.
The house can accommodate up to 4 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, a toilet, and a double sink. The second bedroom contains 2 single beds and utilizes a separate bathroom fitted with a bath, a shower, a toilet, and a washbasin. Linen and bath towels are provided, though guests are required to bring their own beach towels.
An open-plan layout is featured in the living area, which includes a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a lounge. The kitchen features a stove, an oven, a microwave, a fridge, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. A breakfast bar is provided for indoor meals. The lounge area is equipped with comfortable seating, a TV with a full DStv package, and complimentary Wi-Fi backed up by a UPS system.
Sliding doors open onto a private wooden deck overlooking the lagoon, complete with outdoor seating, an electric braai, and a briquette braai facility. Parking is available in a double carport (unsuitable for large trailers). Due to the height of the deck and the lack of a garden, pets and children under the age of 5 cannot be accommodated.
