The view is incredible, the house is cozy and very well equipped. We had a great stay at Paradise on the Vaal!

Pleasant stay. House is old but neat. Are there certain things that need attention. For example main bedroom shower. No complaints, enjoyed the stay. Beautiful view of the river.

Peaceful environment, very quiet to get away from city life. We had a great stay. The only thing people have to do if they want to book there with older people is that it is not very 'old person' friendly. There is a path that older people can stop at until the house, but if you take a frail grandma/grandpa with you, the path will get a bit 'long' and the steps that are there are not 100% smooth for older people and small children. Now those are the steps from the driveway up to the level of the house. The steps to enter the house are regular stairs, but getting out was a mission. My father-in-law's knees and back are not what they should be and I had an ankle injury and had to walk the long way around every time to get to the house. But beyond that, the view of the river is breathtaking. The house makes you feel like you are walking into your grandma's house; it felt like a real home. We will definitely book there again, but unfortunately we will not be able to take grandma and grandpa with us again.

The view is breathtakingly beautiful, but the house is neglected. No, we didn't have a good stay, because the accommodation is neglected and parts of the house are dirty. The showers are moldy and the carpets are full of stains. The finish at the toilet is sloppy, as well as at the moldings. The paint on the kitchen cabinets is peeling in places, and one door is only hanging on one hinge. The swimming pool is pretty clean, but the paint is peeling. I am disappointed in the website, because we always book through you and have always been very satisfied. This property does not meet our standards, and I don't think the website's either. I would like to send photos, please.

Beautiful location on the shore, neat house, clean pool, close to shops. Wonderful stay! Everything clean, neat and safe. Well equipped with everything you need. Beautiful garden right up to the banks of the Vaal River with several benches and garden furniture. The large, clean swimming pool is a plus. No noise from neighbors. This is our fourth or fifth visit and we will come back again and again.
