Unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay at the Pearl of Hout Bay Penthouse. We encountered. A few issues with the accommodation that should have been resolved before our stay. The main bathroom toilet was running and the drains smelt. The second bedroom patio door would not lock, nor was there a lock for it, which gave us safety concerns. The patio table was broken, and thus we could not use the outside furniture. We expected a cleaning service, which we believed to be a part of our package, that did not come. Altogether it was not a pleasant stay, and I would not recommend the Pearl of Hout Bay Penthouse to any family or friends.

Hi Natasa, I'm so sorry to read your review and would like to offer you a free long weekend to make up for the issues. Unfortunately, you were our first booking of the season and the manager who looks after my bookings let me down when it came to the final readiness check. I have now checked everything myself and replaced the patio furniture with new, had the curtains refitted and taken care of the issues. My sincere apologies and I hope you will give us a chance to redeem ourselves. The apartment is a beautiful, sunny, spacious holiday home and it was unfortunate that you didn't see it at its best.
