Dear Anthony, Thanks for your review. Our property is listed as a self-catering accommodation, and it is as advertised. Regarding room service, although we offer tea bags, coffee and sugar as well as access to our farm produce, we don't offer room service. From my experience, most self-catering accommodations do not offer room service unless it is requested. We take your review seriously, and we will ask all our future guests if they need room service. As this is not included in the current price, we will provide the room service to clients who need this as a reasonable cost. Thank you!

Dear Derick, Our property is as advertised, three beds (a queen and two sofa beds). We offered them what you booked. Following simple requests sent to you by your employees, you were also unable to communicate them to us, and you unnecessarily escalated to the platform. Your employees' request for extra blackets came via the platform's office, which was shocking, as we were in the same property as your employees and had been very friendly to them and even accommodated their smoking in our property. Same with their experienced draining system problem, which we did not find when we checked the system. We are able to respond to guests' requests immediately and we have back-up for every essential system. As you can see from reviews of other guests and from the pictures, our property is well equipped with bedding and more, and extra bathrooms in other units for backup in case there are drainage issues. In the case of your employees, extra bedding in the form of blankets was provided as soon as we got the message, and the drainage system was checked, and there was nothing wrong with it when we checked. In addition, two extra bathrooms were offered for use by your employees just incase the experience a problem with the one they were using. Regarding electricity, we are on the Eskom system, but the property offers backup in the form of a solar-powered geyser, battery-powered lights, UPS for urgent plugs, as well as a gas cooker. Our property also has a gas heater. The Eskom electricity system went off in the night, and we discovered it around 5 am in the morning. We then went into the guests' unit to assist them with connecting to the backup system and also opened two additional bathrooms that use solar-powered guards to ensure that they are not short of hot water. I understand your unhappiness as you are reporting what was reported to you by your employees, who were not happy to stay in their shared space.
