Description

Peerboom Guest House - built in 1894 - offers quality overnight accommodation in Fouriesburg, just 9 km from the Lesotho Caledonspoort border, the closest border post to Afriski. This location makes it ideal for business travellers during the week or guests looking for an affordable weekend getaway.

Accommodation is offered in 3 rooms, namely Drommedaris, Sonneblom and Matuli. The Drommedaris room has 2 single beds, and the Sonneblom room has a double bed. Guests in these two rooms share a bathroom with a shower, toilet and washbasin. The Matuli room has a queen-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and sink.

During the winter, the rooms are heated with oil heaters and each bed is kept cosy with electric blankets. Each room has a coffee station with a kettle, microwave oven and tea- and coffee-making facilities.

Guests have access to a communal kitchen equipped with a gas stove, microwave, fridge, basic cutlery and crockery. If you want to barbecue with a beautiful view of the famous Versierskerf mountain, let us know in advance, and we will get everything ready for you.

Free Wi-Fi and parking are available on site.

Only 35km from Clarens with Golden Gate Nature Reserve, 4x4 and hiking trails, breathtaking scenery and historical attractions within striking distance, Fouriesburg and surroundings offer plenty to see and experience for the whole family.
