Description
Pilgrim Vine is a spacious and open self-catering house for up to 8 guests and is ideal for groups or families wanting to visit the wine routes, unique markets, and other attractions in the area.
The multi-story house comprises 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a kitchen, a dining area, and a lounge. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower.
The second bedroom contains 2 single beds, which can be converted into a king-size bed on request, and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The other 2 rooms each contain 2 single beds, which can be converted into a king-size bed on request, and share the use of a bathroom with a bath and a shower. There is also a fourth bathroom with a shower. There is 1 camping cot for babies and 3 mattresses for children that are also available on request, and for convenience, linen and bath towels are provided.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, a microwave, a fridge, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities, and meals can be enjoyed at the breakfast bar or dining tables. A dishwasher, an ice maker and a bean-to-cup coffee machine are also available for guests to use.
The large lounge is comfortably furnished with a TV with selected DStv channels and Netflix, as well as a fireplace, and guests can also relax in the reading nook, which is equipped for relaxation or to do some work. The living area has high ceilings and opens onto a deck with view of the garden and swimming pool as well as the ocean. Table Mountain can also be seen on a clear, sunny day. All rooms, including a reading nook and are air-conditioned with Wi-Fi is available. This home is powered by solar energy.
Guests can relax next to the swimming pool on the sun loungers, or around the firepit. An outside room is equipped as a gymnasium with a spinning bike and other items. Parking is available in the double garage as well as outside, and the house is fitted with an alarm system and cameras on the outside of the house. Guests will receive a cheese board with wine upon arrival.
Pilgrim Vine is 1.5 km from Waterstone Village and 3 km from Somerset Mall, which offers various shops and restaurants, and 5 km from the beach for surfing, fishing, swimming, sunset cruises, and whale watching in season. Guests can also visit the Strand Waterworld & Fun Park, or play a round of putt-putt.
