Pleasant Waters Lodge & Conference Venue is a properly registered, fully compliant, and business licensed accommodation and conference venue located on the Bluff, South Durban, 20 km from the city center. We offer self-catering, bed & breakfast, or full board accommodation options.
This owner-run lodge set in lovely surroundings caters primarily to groups or business guests with commitments in the area. We are not a party venue. There is ample off-street parking.
We can sleep up to 45 guests. Accommodation at Pleasant Waters comprises of one 4-bedroom 8x sleeper flat, one 3-bedroom 5 sleeper cottage, seven superior chalets, and two budget dormitory units that can sleep 6 single -8 sharing guests each.
All units have their own access with either a private kitchenette or a shared communal kitchen [budget units] and have either an en-suite or access to a separate communal bathroom in the same unit. In addition, all units contain free Wi-Fi, the Internet, a TV with selected DStv channels, air-conditioning (superior chalets/ 3-bedroom cottage & 4-bedroom house only), or a portable fan and are serviced daily.
For guests who prefer meals prepared for them; a pre-packed breakfast, lunch, or dinner can be arranged for an extra cost. The lodge also features a communal dining and social hall with a dartboard and snooker table, a social lounge, a swimming pool, and braai facilities at an entertainment area.
For the corporate traveler; conference facilities and a venue are available to hire. Secure parking is available as well.
As we are located in a residential area, our business license prohibits parties and loud noise.
Pleasant Waters is ideally situated within a 5 km radius from Ansteys Beach, Bluff National Park Golf Course, Durban harbour south-side; approximately 15 km from uShaka Marine World and the Durban ICC, to name but a few attractions.
