Description

Polderland is a working farm located in the mountains of the Western Cape offering off-grid self-catering accommodation. The property provides a private, quiet farm stay surrounded by natural scenery.

The cottage operates fully off-grid with no Eskom electricity. It is equipped with a gas geyser for hot water, a gas two-plate stove, and basic cooking facilities including a coffee pot for stovetop use.

Bedding is not included by default. Guests must bring their own bedding or request it in advance at an additional cost.

The cottage has exclusive access to a private dam located in front of the unit. Guests may use the dam for fishing, canoeing, and relaxation during their stay.

Optional activities are available at an additional cost. Sunset horse rides are offered at R500 per person and must be booked in advance. The Protea Whisper Trail hiking experience is available at R50 per person and must also be booked in advance. Firewood is available at R50 per 25kg bundle and must be pre-ordered.

This is an off-grid farm environment with no Eskom electricity. All extras must be arranged in advance.

Outside, guests can enjoy a private terrace with lake and mountain views, along with a braai area and outdoor seating.
