Description

Private Lake Cottage | Farm Escape is situated on a working farm in the mountains of the Western Cape and offers an off-grid self-catering escape surrounded by natural beauty. The cottage provides a peaceful and private farm stay, ideal for guests looking to unwind in a tranquil setting.

The cottage operates entirely without Eskom electricity and is equipped with a gas geyser for hot water, a 2-plate gas stove, and basic self-catering facilities, including a stovetop coffee pot.

Please note that bed linen is not included as standard. Guests are required to bring their own linen or request it in advance at an additional cost.

The cottage enjoys exclusive access to a private dam situated directly in front of the unit. Guests are welcome to enjoy fishing, canoeing, or simply relaxing by the water during their stay.

Optional activities are available at an additional cost and must be arranged in advance. Sunset horse rides are available at R450 per person, while the Protea Whisper Trail hiking experience is available at R50 per person. Firewood can also be pre-ordered at R50 per 25 kg bundle.

Guests can relax on the private patio while taking in the mountain and lake views. Additional outdoor facilities include a braai area and outdoor seating.
