The Pool House at the Old Victorian is a lovely spacious self-catering apartment with a private entrance, located in the grounds of the main house, which was originally built for the then Mayor of Tulbagh of Tulbagh. It is ideal for business and leisure travellers who are looking for a peaceful home base from where they can explore and enjoy this quaint town or just relax by the pool and enjoy a braai.
The cottage can comfortably accommodate up to 2 guests and comprises an open-plan sleeping area and a private bathroom. The sleeping area is furnished with a queen sized bed, and the bathroom is fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet. Linen and bath towels are provided.
The folding doors at the front of the property access the generous 15 x 5 metre pool and swimming towels are provided.
The kitchenette is equipped with a bar fridge, toaster, cutlery and crockery and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The dining and lounging areas have comfortable seating for guests to dine and relax, and for guests' entertainment, there is a TV and videos. Free Access to Wi-Fi is available.
Guests can enjoy an indoor braai that can double as a fireplace, a shared swimming pool and beautiful gardens. Secure parking is available on the premises. Local amenities such as shops and restaurants are within close proximity. Attractions in the area include horseback riding, hiking and biking trails and various wine farms.
