Reed Song Cottage is a historic thatched-roof cottage set in a private garden, built in the 1860s in the West Coast village of Redelinghuys, Western Cape. Located near the edge of Verlorenvlei, this picturesque cottage offers accommodation ideal for birdwatchers and guests seeking a calm, quiet escape surrounded by nature.
The cottage comprises 1 air-conditioned bedroom and 1 bathroom, accommodating up to 3 guests. The bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds, and the en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower. Additionally, there is a single bed in the living area. All linen, bath towels, and swimming towels are provided.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, oven, gas stove, microwave, toaster, cutlery, and crockery, as well as tea-and-coffee-making facilities. A dining table, board games, and reading material are also available.
Guests can enjoy the scenic surroundings from the patio with outdoor furniture and admire the wildflowers during August and September. Surfers will appreciate being just 15 minutes from the world-renowned left point break in Elands Bay. Free Wi-Fi, braai facilities, and secure parking are also available.
