Located on the banks of the Swartrivier, Remkuil Gastehuise - Geloof, Hoop en Liefde offers self-catering accommodation on a farm in the Overberg, just 20 km from Bot River and 31 km from Greyton.
Forming part of Liefde, Geloof en Hoop, guests have a choice of booking the 3-sleeper Geloof, the 5-sleeper Hoop and the 6-sleeper Liefde, making it ideal for groups, big groups or families. The houses are powered by solar panels and gas geysers and comprise 1 or 2 bedrooms and a kitchen. The bedrooms are furnished with double beds and single beds, and each house has a separate, private bathroom with a shower and a toilet. The bathrooms are 15 m away, and the path is lit at night.
Each of the houses has a kitchenette that is equipped with a 2-plate stove, a microwave, a fridge, an indoor fireplace, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities, and meals can be enjoyed at the dining table.
Located separate from each other on one big fenced property, and parking is available. Friendly pets are welcome with prior arrangements and must be leashed when on walks. Firewood can be bought on the premises at an additional cost, but please note, fires are only allowed in the indoor fireplace. A SAPS farm guard is within walking distance of the houses and offers peace of mind.
The farm offers picnic spots in the veld, walking and cycling trails, and guests can view lambs, sheep and cattle. During the planting season between April and May, and harvest time between October and November, guests can request to drive a harvester or tractor at an additional cost.
