Description
River Lodge is a lovely self-catering holiday home situated in an estate on the banks of the mighty Vaal River between Parys and Vanderbijlpark. It is ideal for friends and family who are looking for a peaceful and convenient homebase from where they can explore and enjoy the surrounding area.
This home can accommodate up to 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. All of the bedrooms are furnished with a double bed. The first bedroom has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet, while the other bedrooms make use of a shared bathroom that is also fitted with a shower. Linen and bath towels are provided, however guests are required to bring their own swimming towels.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, cutlery and crockery and tea and coffee-making facilities. The dining and lounging areas have comfortable seating for guests to dine and relax, and for guests' entertainment there is a TV. Access to Wi-Fi is available.
Guests can enjoy a patio with an outdoor dining area and a braai. The estate boasts various amenities such as a shared swimming pool, a tennis court, a small gym, spacious gardens and a jetty on the river should guests wish to bring their own boat. Local amenities such as shops and restaurants can be enjoyed in Vanderbijlpark that is approximately 19 km away, and in Parys that is approximately 28 km away.
