Description

Riverbed Africa is situated in the mountains of Mount Anderson Catchment and Nature Reserve, near the Spekboom River, and offers beautiful views of the surroundings. Accommodation is offered in a three-bedroom self-catering Guest house, a Glamping site, Off-Grid Cabin or River Cabin for two. Reachable by Sedan.

The Guesthouse comprises three bedrooms and can accommodate up to 6 guests. The Guesthouse has a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining, and living room. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a fridge, oven, stove, and microwave. In addition, the guest house includes Wi-Fi, a braai area, a terrace, and a garden for guests to enjoy. The Guesthouse is reachable by a normal car.

The Glamping site and Cabin are situated next to the Spekboom River, and it is an ideal spot to get away from the city and recharge. Both are reachable by a high clearance vehicle and in the rainy seasons by a 4x4. The Glamping site has no electricity, sleeps 4 adults and 4 children. One tent with a king-size bed and a sleeper couch for 2 small children, the second tent has a double bed for a couple and a bunk bed for 2 children older than 10 years, and the third tent is set up as a kitchen with a gas deep-freezer with a one-plate gas stove. The Glamping & Cabin offers hot shower facilities, toilets, a washbasin, a wash area, and braai facilities. The Glamping Cabin is only reachable by 4x4. The Glamping and Cabin is recommended for physically fit nature lovers who enjoy the outdoors, fly fishing and hiking among the wildlife and beautiful landscapes.
