Description

RiverLodge 3 is a small self-catering unit located on a secure estate on the outskirts of Parys, offering a peaceful retreat along the Vaal River.

The unit accommodates 2 guests and features a bedroom furnished with a double bed. Guests share a bathroom fitted with a shower-over-bath.

The open-plan living area includes a seating area with a TV and a small kitchenette equipped with a bar fridge, microwave, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Outdoor dining and braaiing are ideal for this type of getaway. RiverLodge 3 has a lovely braai area with views of the river. Guests also have direct access to the river, along with an additional communal braai area where they can relax, fish, or simply enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sunset.

RiverLodge offers a communal swimming pool and tennis court for guests to enjoy. The property is conveniently located close to local shops and restaurants, and is easily accessible from the N1, right next to Pont de Val.

Activities at the lodge include boating, fishing, parkrun, and safe walking experiences, while wildlife such as buck and zebras form part of the natural surroundings. Day trips can also be arranged to nearby nature reserves, including Savannah Game Lodge (25 km away) and Tava Lingwe Nature Reserve (62 km along the R59 towards Viljoenskroon), which is especially popular for game drives and lion sightings.

Parys and its surroundings are well known for charming shops and excellent restaurants, attracting visitors from the city, especially on weekends. RiverLodge 3 is an ideal choice for a relaxing, peaceful, or adventure-filled getaway.
