Rockview 43 is located in a safe complex in Hibberdene, a coastal town in KwaZulu-Natal. It's the ideal place for guests looking for a seaside getaway. This place is a real little gem, still feels like the good old days and it is absolute beach front with the sand just 50m away from the units. The block is very peaceful as most owners don't holiday let (very busy in Dec/Jan as all the owners return for their annual visit)
The unit has sweeping views over the ocean and you are so close you can see the dolphins without binoculars, the kids can play safely as there is a large well kept lawn out the front and a fenced swimming pool out the back.
We are very fortunate that we have such good caretakers, Fanie and Fia who look after the place, they will welcome you and hand over the keys. Please note they are only there if needed and please ask me questions before bothering them.

The house accommodates 5 guests and features 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed, the second bedroom with 2 single beds, and there's a double sleeper couch in the living area. The first bathroom has a shower-over-bath, and the second bathroom has a toilet only. Please note that guest 5 will sleep in lounge on day bed, please provide your own linen and towels for guest 5.

The open-plan living area includes a lounge suite, TV, and a dining table with chairs. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, oven, stove, and microwave oven. There is a smart TV with unlimited cable.

Secure parking and braai facilities are available. Guests also have access to the complex's communal swimming pool when they're not spending the day at the beach.
Please note that this unit is on the THIRD floor, the top floor of the building. There are only stairs but we have a helper that will carry all your luggage for R50.
There is an alarm system that will be turned on and off by the caretakers every night and morning. If you need access outside of these times please arrange with them. I ask that you be respectful and only make one request for outside of hours during your stay. The caretakers work hard and need their rest.

This unit is very special to us, we are a family with a little boy who has a brain injury, we live in Australia but I grew up on a farm outside PMB. We can only visit once every two years. Please help us treat the place with courtesy and respect.
We have purposefully left the unit 'old skool' as we like it that way. It is not over the top fancy but it's homely, affordable and feels like a real holiday as you are literally on the beach and the hospitality of the caretakers make you feel so at home.
