Amazing - just the right timing for snow. We went for a little snow trip, and it was amazing. Rogge Cloof is so cozy and perfect for experiencing the Sutherland snow. The food was amazing, and the staff was so friendly and helpful.

Upon arrival, the host came out to greet with a refresher towel and option of a welcome juice or sherry. The original farm house is certainly worth touring, especially with such passionate, proud, and innately hospitable staff. One should actually stay a few days and take full advantage of all that Rogge Cloof has to offer: MTBing, Hiking, Stargazing, Birdwatching, Cheetah tracking, Wine tasting, Gin tasting, Springbok feeding, History Tours. And you don't even need to leave the premises as catering is available (dinner-bed-breakfast package plus à la carte lunch) as well as self-catering units should you prefer. The Orion Suites are generously equipped with a gas stove for boiling water for tea/coffee or to fill the hot water bottles, a wood-burning stove for warmth (wood provided), a very comfortable bed and bedding, plenty of blankets, towels, and natural drinking water.
