Rooidakkies is a campsite in the heart of the Tankwa Karoo near Ceres, where adventure and atmosphere meet. Surrounded by rugged mountains, endless plains, and the stark beauty the region is known for, it’s the perfect setting for hiking, cycling, and stargazing under vast skies.
Set on a working farm, Rooidakkies offers rustic camping with a choice of campsites and glamping tents. The campsites are ideal for guests bringing their own tents or caravans, while the glamping tents are furnished with mattresses, queen-size beds, or twin beds. All guests share communal ablution facilities, fitted with showers and toilets for convenience.
On-site facilities include a communal swimming pool, braai areas, and an entertainment area with a bar where guests can relax and socialise. There is Wi-Fi and power points available in the communal area.
