Very nice stay. Will go back again. We had a great stay and visit. Come and enjoy farm life to the fullest. For a large group the fridge is a bit small.

Karoo magic. We had a lovely stay in the quiet peace of the Karoo. It is worth mentioning that there is no electricity in this house other than the solar powered fridge and light, so do come prepared with something like an EcoFlow battery. Marge and her family are lovely and ensured that we had the best time. I also highly recommend going for an outride with Judith for horse lovers to see some of the wildlife the farm has to offer on horseback. Overall, a great experience. Thank you.

Nice stay. We had a great stay. You definitely need a tall car to get to the house, it's quite secluded. Make sure you get there in daylight, because it takes a while to orient yourself in the house with its minimal amenities. Also take extra lights and insect repellent, lots of bugs. Our fridge didn't work, and the solar power ran out towards the end of the evening so we couldn't charge our phones either. Neat and beautiful picture. We really enjoyed the Groot Droom house. It was picture perfect. The hostess sent us great directions a few days before our arrival. My only complaint (which is not the guesthouse's fault) is the dirt road. I have a low car and it is about 50 km of dirt road to get to the destination, although the dirt road was in good condition, the journey would have been easier with a bakkie.
