Salt & Sage Betty's Bay is a self-catering home located in Betty’s Bay, Western Cape, an area well known for its pristine coastline, scenic mountain views, fynbos landscapes, and popular attractions along the Cape Whale Coast. It is ideal for families looking for a seaside escape.
The home comfortably accommodates 8 guests and comprises 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Bedroom 1 is furnished with a king-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower-over-bath, washbasin, and toilet. Bedroom 2 is furnished with a queen-size bed. Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds. Bedroom 4 is furnished with a bunk bed. There is an adjacent room on request. Bedroom 5 (on request), is furnished with a queen-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, washbasin, and toilet. The room also has a small, kitchenette area, with a kitchen zinc. The room has sliding doors to the back garden.
Linen and towels are provided.
The open-plan living area features a dining table and chairs, an indoor fireplace and a built-in braai. The lounge is furnished with comfortable seating and a TV. WI-FI is included. A work-station is also available.
Through the sliding doors, guests can step onto the wooden patio furnished with outdoor furniture and can make use of the portable braai, surrounded by mountain views.
The basic and small kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, fridge-freeze, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Please bring your own Nespresso pods. The kitchen is fitted with all necessary cutlery and crockery. There is a scullery with a dishwasher. The laundry area has a washing machine and a chest freezer.
There is a double-garage / entertainment area with a dart board and board games. The area has patio furniture seating and a table and a bar area, with a fridge.
There is an outside, upstairs deck which is perfect to view the sunsets.
The home is located within walking distance of the beaches and the penguins at Stony Point Nature Reserve.
The surf / kite-surfing beaches, diving and fishing spots are all nearby. The sandboarding dune is nearby and there are sandboards for guests to use.
Harold Porter Botanical Gardens and hiking trails are located nearby, along with restaurants, local cafes, shops, and other nearby amenities.
We respect the quiet area and scenic surroundings, and this is strictly a 'no-party' home.
