Salties Beach House is a spacious and charming beachfront retreat located on Salt Rock’s main beach. Offering direct beach access and stunning ocean views, this coastal escape is ideal for families, friends, and groups looking to relax and enjoy the beauty of the seaside.
This property is designed for comfort and relaxation, accommodating up to 20 guests across three separate wings, ensuring privacy and space for everyone.
The Downstairs Wing features four double bedrooms, three of which boast breathtaking sea views. It includes a shared bathroom with a separate shower and an additional toilet. The First Upstairs Wing houses the main bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, along with two additional bedrooms, one of which is sea-facing, sharing a bathroom. The Second Upstairs Wing consists of two double bedrooms and an open dormitory-style room. This section includes a shared bathroom with a separate shower and toilet, providing additional convenience for larger groups. Each bedroom is equipped with overhead fans, and all linen is provided, however, guests are required to bring their beach towels.
The open-plan kitchen and dining area are fully equipped, with a large wooden dining table that seats 18, perfect for gatherings and family meals. Guests can relax in the expansive sea-facing living room that opens onto a large sun deck. The entertainment area includes a pool table, table tennis, a TV with DSTV (bring your own smart card), and a music system.
Guests can enjoy safe swimming in the 3 tidal pools situated directly in front of the house, as well as a swimming beach with year-round lifeguards and shark nets. Surfing, snorkeling, and spearfishing are available right on the doorstep. Several world-class golf courses, including Zimbali, Umhlali, and Prince’s Grant, are within a 30-minute drive. A well-stocked store is within walking distance for essentials, while 2 large shopping centers are just 5 minutes away in Ballito. For dining and nightlife, guests have access to over ten restaurants and numerous pubs within a 10-minute drive.
