Description

Sandhuis is an eco-friendly self-catering home located in the rural village of Riebeek Kasteel. Surrounded by gardens, lawns, chickens, and ducks, the property offers a tranquil farm-like atmosphere where guests can enjoy a peaceful countryside retreat. Fresh farm eggs are provided, and guests are welcome to feed the birds and poultry with seed supplied in the house.

The house can accommodate 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower over the bath, toilet, and washbasin. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, while the third bedroom has 2 single beds that can be converted into a king-size bed. A second bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin, and the third bathroom is fitted with a gas shower, toilet, and washbasin. Linen, bath towels, and swimming towels are provided.

The fully equipped kitchen contains a gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, and coffee- and tea-making facilities. The open-plan living area includes a lounge with comfortable seating and a Smart TV with full DStv, as well as a dining area with seating for 6. Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided, and a fireplace adds to the cosy atmosphere during colder evenings.

The living area opens onto a covered patio with an outdoor dining table and chairs. Additional facilities include a splash pool, sun loungers, a braai area, a fire pit, and a well-maintained garden with picnic tables and outdoor furniture. Secure on-site parking is available.
