A lovely weekend nature getaway. Perfectly in nature with a short drive to shops. Woke up to the sound of the ocean's waves and birds singing. It was lovely.

A nice father and son getaway weekend! Very nice stay. Slangkop is now becoming an institution for us when we want a quick getaway but don't want to travel far from Cape Town.

Serene, slow and safe. I enjoyed a beautiful and serene stay at the Slangkop Tented Camp. Visiting during the week was the best choice, as the place was nice and empty. I loved the warm showers and the walks to the beach. The kitchen was fully stocked; you just need to bring your own food. However, one issue we faced was the wind that caused the windows and doors to swing open, creating a loud noise at night. It was difficult to sleep until we figured out a way to keep the windows closed. It's worth noting that the website and SANParks need to coordinate their information better. There are no park fees, and the park only permits charcoal for cooking; firewood is not allowed. We learned about these restrictions only on the day we checked in. However, the website was very nice and allowed us to reschedule our stay to another date. Great customer service!

Good. Nice place, quiet but close to the village. During the night, the spotlight of the neighbourhood was not that romantic. Maybe someone is using your name for a scam - we got a few emails about asking for missing payments.

We had a lovely, peaceful stay and the facilities and location were divine! The scenery was absolutely beautiful. The campsite was in pristine condition and the location was perfect. We enjoyed walking, hiking, watching the surfers, exploring the town and swimming in the ocean. The sunrises were immaculate! We would highly recommend this spot for campers!

Fantastic and cozy! This was one of the best places to stay yet! So much to do and see. The village of Kommetjie is so cute and has a great walking trail and swimming beach. Highly recommend!

A wonderful tranquil stay in nature. Loved our hidden camp in Kommetjie. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere in nature but could walk to the restaurants and the beach. Highly recommended.
