Description

Scalarhoney Lodge is situated in the Tsitsikamma Mountains and offers guests a holistic and tranquil getaway.

The retreat offers guests a choice of booking the rustic 3-sleeper wooden HoneyBush Cabin or the 3-sleeper Buchu Boomhuis, both situated near the river.

The cabin is furnished with a king-size bed and has a bathroom with a shower. The cabin also has a separate kitchen that is equipped with a 2-plate gas plate, a fridge, as well as cutlery and crockery.

Buchu Boomhuis is furnished with a king-size bed, as well as a single bed, and has a private bathroom with a shower. The unit has a private kitchen and is equipped with a 2-plate gas stove, cutlery and crockery, as well as a fridge. Additional children can be accommodated, but guests need to provide their own tents.

Braai facilities are also available for use, and pets are welcome with prior arrangement. Please note, it is a 250 m walk from the car park to the Buchu Boomhuis.

Guests can cool down in the rock pool or river, or go hiking and walking in the surrounds, which offer indigenous fynbos as well as numerous Protea species. Honey-bush tea, which is grown on the reserve, and health products are also available.
