SEAI Dream Sunny Oasis is a north-facing, sunny house with 270-degree views over False Bay, Simon’s Town, the Naval Yard, and Table Mountain National Park. It is a short 10-minute walk down the Tredree steps to Simon’s Town village and a brisk 10-minute walk to Seaforth Beach. Guests can also walk another five minutes to visit the famous African Penguin colony at Boulders Beach, avoiding parking and crowds. The home has an easy flow and provides a welcoming space for families, extended families, and traveling business professionals to unwind in a quiet setting.
This house can accommodate 8 guests and comprises 3 tastefully furnished bedrooms and a pyjama lounge/kids playroom downstairs. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, basin, and toilet. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, while the third bedroom has 2 single beds. They share the use of a bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. There is also a separate guest toilet.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, air fryer, microwave, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. It extends to the dining area where guests can enjoy meals together and further opens to the lounge furnished with comfy couches and a smart TV. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available.
The house opens onto a patio that surrounds a lovely plunge pool. Lawns wrap around towards the side yard, leading to a play area for kids and grandkids. In the evening, the aromatic scents of the terraced native plant garden drift up onto the patio, a reminder that the property is nestled within the indigenous fynbos floral community, the richest and most biodiverse plant kingdom on the planet. Among the native plants, guests will find orange, lemon, and grapefruit trees ready for picking. Beyond the pool in the side yard, a grapevine invites harvesting.
Guests can enjoy watching the sunrise over the Hottentots Holland Mountains and False Bay with a morning coffee on the upper porch and end the day with a sunset while braaiing under the covered porch. A large three-burner gas braai is positioned on the upper porch, providing a perfect spot to take in the views as dusk turns to evening.
