Peaceful, beautiful and went by too soon. Peaceful area surrounded by a garden and in the distance the sound of the ocean. We slept so peacefully every night. Hidden gem, great value! Hidden gem for anyone looking for a neat, secure, and affordable place to call home for a few days. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. Kids enjoyed the well-maintained pool. The white-eared barbet nest in the tree by the entrance was a treat. The beach is a short walk away and you can hear the sea from the cottage. The Weber braai was a meal saver on the second night we stayed - it rained but we could still cook our chicken! WiFi was very much appreciated and allowed me to work uninterrupted. Oom Brian and Tannie are wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome, and nothing was too much trouble.
