A place to slow down and breathe deeply. I loved my stay. The attention to detail and luxury was much appreciated. I felt extremely safe, loved the bath products of which ample is supplied, luxurious bath towels and bathrobes, two different room sprays, mosquito net, massive TV with full DStv and Blu-ray. Plenty of green including the gorgeous green kitchen downstairs. Big private outdoor entertainment area. And best: a bottle of award-winning red wine and a box of nougat. Go! You'll love it.

Immaculate, accommodating and wonderful. It was incredible. Anabela is the best host anyone could ask for, an amazing person who took care of my partner and me on our honeymoon. She went the extra mile at every turn and really made us feel at ease, comfortable and welcomed.

Comfortable & a wonderful getaway from the city. Anabela was a wonderful host. Friendly & the unit was very clean & tidy with a secure fence for a medium sized dog. She provided wine, chocolate, water, dog snacks & a dog bed. The unit is walking distance from the main street of Riebeeck-Kasteel.

Excellent. We arrived in a heat wave, yet the host had ice cream and cold water ready for us. Aircon was lovely. The host was exceptional. Highly recommended to stay here.

Excellent wonderful. A wonderful and relaxing stay in a beautiful place. The house has everything one needs to make the stay comfortable. The surrounding area is stunning. Experiencing a sunrise from the balcony is truly memorable. Thank you for making my stay so very nice. Also thanks for the special doggy treats. A stay in Silky Oaks Couples Retreat is a must when visiting Riebeek Kasteel.

A genuinely lovely getaway. If we could give Silky Oaks more than 5 stars, we absolutely would. Anabela went out of her way to make us feel welcome and was very quick to respond whenever we required anything. The space is gorgeous, comfortable, close to the town centre, and included thoughtful touches everywhere, from charging cables to a sewing kit to welcome treats and braai items. The birdlife and surrounding nature were an absolute highlight. We only wish that we had stayed longer!
