Description
Simunye Private Game Reserve offers bush accommodation on a 215-hectare private reserve in Madibeng, surrounded by wildlife and natural bushveld. Located approximately 120 km from Johannesburg, 70 km from Pretoria, and 73 km from Lanseria International Airport, the reserve is ideal for nature lovers, birdwatchers, cyclists, retreats, and family getaways.
Accommodation is offered in 4 individually furnished chalets, accommodating between 2 and 5 guests. Chalet 1 comprises 2 separate bedrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and a single bed, while the second bedroom contains a queen-size bed. Chalet 2 is furnished with a queen-size bed and a single bed. Chalet 3 contains a queen-size bed and 2 single beds. Chalet 4 is furnished with a queen-size bed. Each chalet has an en-suite bathroom fitted with either a shower or a bath and shower, as well as a seating area and outdoor patio.
The luxury chalets are equipped with a kitchenette featuring an induction stove, wash-up sink, cutlery, and crockery. Additional in-room amenities include tea- and coffee-making facilities, a bar fridge, and ceiling fans.
Guests have access to communal facilities within the central hub, including a salt-chlorinated swimming pool, sun loungers, a shared kitchen and dining area, a large braai area, and a rock lounge overlooking the surrounding bushveld. The hub is enclosed by an electrified security fence.
Activities on the reserve include self-guided nature walks, bird watching, wildlife viewing, trail running, and mountain biking. Guided walks, game drives, guided cycling excursions, yoga sessions, and massage treatments can be arranged at an additional cost. Continental breakfast and dinner options are also available.
The reserve offers a peaceful bushveld setting where guests can enjoy wildlife, outdoor activities, and relaxation in nature.
