Description

Soloko Wild Farm offers comfortable self-catering accommodation on a game farm in the Baviaanskloof region, situated approximately 20 km from Kareedouw and at the foot of the Zuuranys Mountains. Surrounded by natural beauty and open landscapes, this farm-style retreat provides a peaceful setting suited to guests seeking a nature-based getaway.

Accommodation is offered in a variety of units, including 8 stone chalets, 6 wooden chalets, 3 guest rooms, a “Raas & Rus” apartment, and a main house that can accommodate up to 17 guests. The stone chalets can each accommodate between 3 and 5 guests, while 3 wooden chalets accommodate 2 guests and 2 wooden chalets accommodate 4 guests. Each chalet features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, as well as a kitchen area and braai (barbecue) facilities. The guest rooms can accommodate 2 to 3 guests, and each includes a private bathroom and kitchen area. The “Raas & Rus” apartment accommodates 4 guests and features a bathroom fitted with both a bath and a shower, along with a kitchen and sitting area.

The stone chalets make use of a shared kitchen and boma area, while the wooden chalets and guest rooms each have a kitchenette equipped with a 2-plate stove, microwave, mini fridge, cutlery, and crockery. The main house includes a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge with a TV, and a covered patio with private braai facilities. On-site facilities include a swimming pool, shared braai areas, outdoor seating, and a jungle gym for children.

Guests can enjoy the natural surroundings, where a variety of wildlife such as impalas, zebras, nyalas, red hartebeest, blesbok, ostriches, blue wildebeest, giraffes, and warthogs roam freely on the farm. Breakfast is available on request and can be arranged prior to arrival.
