Description
South Merino Gasteplaas is a working sheep farm close to the village of Richmond. The farm also has wildlife, including springbok, grey rhebok, impala, and kudu. The latter often grazed quietly in the garden early in the morning.
This property offers guests 2 units which can both accommodate 4 guests at a time. Each unit is open-plan and furnished with a queen-size bed and 2 single beds. It also features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet. Percale white linen is also provided.
Additionally, these units have a cosy lounge space with comfy seating as well as a coffee station equipped with a bar fridge, cutlery and crockery as well as a Nespresso machine. Complimentary Wi-Fi and coffee pods are provided. An air fryer is also available on request by prior arrangement.
Each living room opens onto a patio with a built-in braai. Wood, firelighters, grills, tongs, and braai salt are provided. Guests can order meals, braai packs and side dishes at additional costs.
The farm is located on the N1 with access through a security gate. The guesthouse is 500 m from the N1 highway on a well-maintained dirt road, easily accessible by any vehicle. The hosts offer secure parking next to each unit.
