Located in Calitzdorp, Spekboom Cottage is a cosy self-catering unit built at the turn of the 20th century. Constructed from unbaked clay bricks and straw, it remains cool in summer and warm in winter.
This cottage can accommodate up to 5 adults and a child, and comprises 2 en-suite bedrooms. The first bedroom is comfortably furnished with a double bed and the bathroom is fitted with a bath. The second bedroom has a double bed as well as a bunk bed, and its bathroom is fitted with a shower. The upper bunk is designed to accommodate a child only. Linen and bath towels are provided.
The unit features a well-equipped kitchen that includes a gas stove, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, cutlery, crockery, fridge-freezer, and a dishwasher. The lounge and dining area offer comfortable seating for guests to dine and relax. Free Wi-Fi is available.
Outside, guests can enjoy a covered patio with portable braai facilities and outdoor seating. Off-street parking is available, and the cottage is located within easy walking distance of town, restaurants, and wine estates, all surrounded by beautiful countryside.
