Squirrel's End Guest Cottage is one of 3 fully furnished and equipped cottages located on the host’s property in Bergvliet, Cape Town. Although within close proximity to highways and main roads; once inside the property, it is quiet and serene with birds and squirrels in the trees in a lush, well-maintained garden.
This ground-floor unit can accommodate 4 persons and consists of 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and an open-plan living area. The bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds and in the living area, there is a queen-size bed. The bathroom is fitted with a separate shower and a bath, a basin, a toilet and a washing machine. The living area features sofas to relax on and TV with Netflix, etc. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a large fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, oven and hob and a small dish washer. Use of an air fryer can be arranged. The cupboards are well stocked with cutlery, mugs, plates, bowls, glasses, mats, a chopping board, grater, etc.
Guests have access to the swimming pool and braai facilities on the property. Secure parking is available for cars outside in the cul-de-sac where there are security cameras. There has been no incidence of interference with the cars in the last 20 years! There are several good eateries in the area and the closest one is one block away and walkable.
There are two additional units on the property so if extended family would like to travel together it can be arranged by contacting the host.
