Stay@KarooVrede is a beautiful self-catering cottage nestled against the picturesque Gordon Koppie in Prince Albert, offering panoramic views of the surrounding Swartberg Mountains and the vast Karoo landscape. The cottage is surrounded by a flourishing garden, creating a peaceful and inspiring retreat.
The spacious open-plan cottage features one large en-suite bedroom with an extra-length king-size bed (or two three-quarter beds), an open shower, and a unique freestanding bath. Soft microfiber duvets, crisp white linen, colourful blankets, and fluffy towels create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Guest toiletries and a hairdryer are provided.
High windows, ceilings, and glass doors fill the space with natural light, while air conditioning, a ceiling fan, a Queen Anne fireplace, and a heater ensure year-round comfort. Both the bedroom and living area open onto a covered patio where guests can enjoy magical sunrises over the koppie and the Karoo sky. The living area also features a comfortable double sleeper couch, providing additional sleeping space for two extra guests.
The fully equipped open-plan kitchen includes a gas stove and oven, microwave, air fryer, toaster, coffee machine, snack maker, and fridge-freezer. Complimentary coffee, tea, sugar, milk, and freshly baked rusks are provided, making cooking and dining a pleasure while enjoying spectacular views of the koppie and Karoo skies.
Guests can braai on the patio beneath a classic thatched roof while taking in the surreal Karoo sunsets — a truly magical experience.
