Situated in Yzerfontein, Stokkiesdraai is a beautiful self-catering holiday home, offering an ideal retreat for families and friends. This charming coastal village is renowned for its pristine beaches, seasonal wildflowers, excellent fishing opportunities, and breathtaking natural scenery.
This sunny, 2-storey holiday home comprises 3 en-suite bedrooms and comfortably accommodates 6 adults and 2 children. Each bedroom is furnished with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. All rooms are equipped with quality linen, towels, electric blankets, fans, and heaters to ensure guests’ comfort. The upstairs family room contains a double bed and a single bed for one child, while the sunroom also includes a single bed for a child. On request, additional arrangements can be made for one more primary-school-aged child.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, Smeg gas hob, electric oven, and microwave. A dishwasher and washing machine are available for guest use. The living area offers a comfortable seating set and a smart TV, opening onto an indoor braai area with its own seating. The sunroom is a delightful space for socialising, featuring a dedicated workspace and a daybed for reading or relaxing.
The house enjoys plenty of winter sun, making it an ideal home throughout the year. Additionally, it is well sheltered from the strong south-easterly winds during the summer months.
Outside, guests will find a second braai area as well as a plunge pool, perfectly positioned for protection from the wind. Complimentary WiFi and secure parking are also provided. A notable feature of the property is the presence of a hybrid inverter, ensuring uninterrupted electricity for the TV, WiFi, and certain lights during power outages. There is covered parking for one vehicle, as well as space for three additional cars in the secure parking area.
The harbour, local shops, restaurants, deli's, artisanal stores, and supermarkets are all within easy reach of the house. The local area offers many walking and cycling trails, as well as horse rides on the beach, and wine tasting. Yzerfontein offers an incredible Wildflower experience during August and September.
