Peaceful bliss at Valley View. My husband and I, along with two friends, enjoyed a fabulous one-night stay at Valley View, arriving late afternoon in the most perfect weather. After lighting the braai fire, we then, from the comfort of the hot tub (the absolute prize piece of this farm getaway), enjoyed the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The cabin was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything one could need. Even left us some of her fresh farm eggs, which we enjoyed for breakfast the next morning. The beds are comfortable with high-quality linen. The hosts are perfect and even popped in after we'd settled in to check we had all we needed and chat for a while about the history of the farm, keen to share their piece of paradise with their guests. Unfortunately, we needed to move on the next morning, so we were unable to walk any of the trails they told us about, but we'll do that next time. Such utter peace and tranquillity one will not find easily, and we can highly recommend Valley View Escape to anyone wanting a getaway where they can unwind and recharge their batteries.

This stay made our anniversary even more special than ever! The place was wow! I have never stayed in a better place before! I've been to 5-star places and nothing compared to Valley View! The place was amazing, super clean, quiet and absolutely beautiful. Liezl was so amazing, giving us eggs and milk! The Jacuzzi and fireplace were all set for us when we arrived, this is truly a hidden gem that I will definitely be back for!
