Description

Tamboti Retreat is a charming 8-sleeper self-catering lodge located in the Shona Langa Nature Reserve, approximately 55 km from Bela-Bela. The reserve is home to 29 game species and 140 bird species, offering plenty of opportunities to enjoy nature during your stay.

This spacious, fully furnished double-storey lodge features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and open-plan living areas. The main and second bedrooms each have a queen-size bed, while the third bedroom contains 2 three-quarter beds and 1 double bed. Guests can enjoy both bath and shower facilities.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas stove, air fryer, dishwasher, and washing machine for added convenience.

The main living area opens onto the entertainment area, which features a swimming pool, bush braai, garden lapa, and a patio with a built-in gas braai. The lodge also offers 2 air-conditioning units, full DSTV Premium channels, and WiFi.

Please note: No guided game drives are provided. The farm is a private nature reserve, and guests are supplied with a map for self-guided drives. All roads are clearly marked, with a 25 km/h speed limit to ensure the safety of the animals. Open fires in the bush are not allowed. Fires are prohibited when it is windy. Loud music is not permitted to maintain the peace of the bush and respect for neighbours.

The farm offers a variety of activities, including game viewing, bird watching, visiting the wetlands, fishing at the catch-and-release dam (with braai facilities and ablutions), cycling, and walking.

For added convenience during load-shedding or power outages, LED lanterns and a UPS for the WiFi are available. Filtered water is also provided.
