Description
Tembo Lodge is a spacious self-catering lodge situated within the luxurious Mabalingwe Nature Reserve. Surrounded by scenic bushveld landscapes, the lodge offers an ideal getaway for families and groups seeking a relaxing and memorable stay in nature. Guests can enjoy access to the reserve’s facilities and activities, while the property itself provides a comfortable setting designed for both leisure and entertainment.
The lodge can accommodate up to 10 guests and comprises 3 air-conditioned bedrooms with 3 en-suite bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and features a full en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath and shower. The second bedroom features a king-size bed, as well as a loft area furnished with two single beds. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower. The third bedroom, located in the upstairs loft area, is furnished with a queen-size bed and two single beds. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath and shower. Crisp white linen, bath towels, extra pillows, blankets, and hairdryers are provided for guest convenience, while guests are required to bring their own swimming towels.
The open-plan living area features a fully equipped kitchen fitted with a gas stove, electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, air fryer, toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, and all necessary cutlery and crockery. A central breakfast island with stools and a 10-seater dining table creates a welcoming social space for shared meals. The lounge area offers comfortable seating, a fireplace, a Smart TV with full DStv and streaming services, as well as complimentary Wi-Fi access throughout the lodge.
Leading from the dining and lounge area is a spacious wooden deck fitted with outdoor furniture, sun loungers, a firepit, a gas braai, and a sparkling splash pool overlooking the surrounding bushveld. Guests also have access to indoor and outdoor braai facilities, daily cleaning services, free parking, and self-check-in facilities. Additional conveniences include an inverter for loadshedding support, a convenience store, restaurant, and coffee shop located within the reserve, as well as 24-hour security and CCTV monitoring outside the property.=
