Description
Located 21 km outside of Pongola on the R66, Thamela Game Farm provides self-catering accommodation in a peaceful atmosphere in the heart of Zululand, making this an ideal location for a tranquil break.
Accommodation is offered in 2 units. Guests share a kitchen and living area, but each unit has its own bathroom. Please note that there is no cell phone signal in the camp. The accommodation uses solar power and a donkey as a geyser.
The open-plan living area features tall ceilings and a kitchen fully equipped with a gas stove and oven, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as a tea and coffee tray. Additionally, there is a dining table. Outside the unit, there is a covered patio with outdoor seating and a Weber braai.
The camp also offers a boma with extra braai facilities. Thamela Game Farm spoils with a variety of wildlife and is constantly in demand by bird watchers because of the many species that visit the farm. Game viewing takes place by equipped vehicle and can be booked at affordable rates.
