We will book again. We loved the accommodation and location. The unit could do with a little maintenance in the bathroom and basin plumbing. A full-length mirror would also be nice.

Feels like home. This was our third visit to Xenia Aparthotel. My family and I stay here every year for the Cape Town Cycle Tour. Perfect between the start and finish. The area is noisy until late at night, mostly due to restaurants and live sports. Be warned.

It was pleasantly good. My stay was nice; however, there's a gas station that is so noisy during morning hours, I struggled to sleep. The balcony light wasn't working. We struggled with the apartment lock and the attitude of the receptionist we reported it to first gave me the impression I'm doing it wrong. The nightshift receptionist was a godsend and changed my experience with his helpfulness, professionalism, and friendliness.

Our stay was lovely, but the check-in and check-out process was very unpleasant. While the overall experience was lovely and we have no complaints about the accommodation itself, the check-in and check-out process was quite unpleasant. When we arrived, the lady at reception assisted us with a noticeable attitude, which made the process uncomfortable. There was also only one person working at reception during check-in time. Although I understand that security procedures can take time, the combination of long waits and a lack of clear communication added to the frustration. We were not informed beforehand that all guests are required to show identification and be registered on the biometric system. Not everyone carries their personal documents when they aren’t aware they will be needed. We also did not receive any notification about this requirement through the website booking. Do booking agencies know about these rules? If not, guests should be clearly informed beforehand to avoid unnecessary inconvenience. On top of that, the reception lady came to search for the breakage fee during check-in, which added to the overall unpleasant experience. Check-out at the parking bay was also disorganized and confusing.
