Description
The Boathouse is located in Jongensfontein and is a spacious studio unit for 2 guests with an option of 2 children under 10 sharing a sofa bed. The unit is very peaceful and quaint with unobstructed views of the sea and beach. Guests can walk down the fynbos dune to the beach and the well-known Jongensfontein swimming hole.
The open-plan unit has a double bed, a sleeper couch and a private full bathroom with a shower and bath. Linen and towels are provided. The wood-fired stove takes the chill our of winter for snug, romantic evenings in front of the fire.
The kitchen is equipped with a 2-plate stove, Snappychef, oven, microwave, fridge and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Guests can enjoy their meals at the dining table. There is a TV with DStv and free Wi-Fi.
Private outdoor braai facilities are available for use. Please note the owner lives on the premises. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed. The Boathouse is a non-smoking establishment, but guests can smoke outside.
The accommodation has solar panels and is not affected by loadshedding.
Jongensfontein offers various activities such as swimming, angling, and surfing. The town is filled with fauna en flora, and visitors may also see small wildlife roaming around. The area also has various walking routes.
