Description

The Elephant House & The Elephant Cottage offer modern self-catering accommodation in Gordon’s Bay, located in the peaceful Whispering Pines area. Ideally positioned for exploring the surrounding attractions, the property is just a short walk from the well-known Cayman Beach, accessible via a nearby footpath.

Accommodation is offered in two separate 3-bedroom units, each accommodating up to 6 guests. These units can be combined via an interleading door to create a spacious 12-sleeper option, making it ideal for larger families or groups travelling together.

Elephant House features 3 bedrooms upstairs. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and workspace, while the second and third bedrooms each contain 2 single beds that can be converted into queen-size beds. A shared bathroom includes a bath, shower, toilet, and double basin. A washer-dryer combo is available in the upstairs laundry area. Downstairs, the fully equipped kitchen includes a gas stove, oven, bar fridge, microwave, cutlery, and crockery. The lounge offers a comfortable U-shaped sofa and a Smart TV with access to Netflix and YouTube (guest login required). Outside, guests can enjoy a seating area with a braai (barbecue) and an umbrella.

Elephant Cottage is also a 3-bedroom home. The main bedroom is air-conditioned and includes a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet. The two additional bedrooms each have queen-size beds and share a bathroom fitted with a bath, basin, and toilet. Outdoor features include a private plunge pool, terrace with bistro seating, a covered lounge area under a retractable awning, and a spacious braai area.

Both units offer free capped Wi-Fi and secure parking for one vehicle behind an electric gate. The properties are serviced before arrival and after departure, ensuring a clean and comfortable stay.

With its close proximity to the beach and easy access to local restaurants and attractions, this accommodation provides a convenient and relaxing base along the False Bay coastline.
