The Gate House is private with a lovely verandah to enjoy the view of the mountains and the farm animals. It got very cold, so we lit the fire to warm up. The fireplace is an excellent unit. It warmed the house and all the smoke was extracted. We have been smoked out too often when homemade fireplaces are used that hardly heat the room.
