Description
The Gables is situated in the Grotto Bay nature reserve and offers comfortable self-catering accommodation ideal for family getaways or couples looking for a break. The property is within walking distance of the ocean and provides a sea view.
The Gables can accommodate 4 guests and comprises of 2 bedrooms with double beds and 1 full bathroom sharing. The bathroom is fitted with a toilet, a basin, bath and a shower. Both the rooms and bathroom are located on the 2nd floor There is a guest toilet on the ground floor with a hand basin.
The unit has kitchen facilities equipped with a fridge, 4 plate electric stove and oven, microwave oven, washing machine and dishwasher. There is also a 2-plate gas stove in the event of load shedding and battery backup lights. Guests have access to braai facilities and secure parking inside the property. The Gables also has a DStv Premium bouquet with an Explora decoder. Although we do have solar power it is to be used with discretion in order for it to see us through the loadshedding.
Grotto Bay is situated next to the Grotto Bay Private Nature Reserve, on the R27, southwest of Darling and 68 km from Cape Town. The Gables is approximately 400 m to the nearest beach. There are also various hiking trails on the estate inland and coastal. Shops are 30km's away which guarantee a relaxed breakaway.
