The Gem is a double-storey guest house in Graskop offering self-catering accommodation in 3 units, namely Emerald, Amber, and Ruby. Ideally located for exploring the Panorama Route, the property is close to popular attractions such as God's Window, the Graskop Gorge Lift Company, and nearby waterfalls.
Emerald is located on the ground floor and consists of a spacious apartment with a private entrance. It accommodates 4 guests and is furnished with a queen-size bed and 2 single beds, as well as an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The open-plan living area includes a fully equipped kitchen with a separate scullery, a dining table, and a lounge with a smart TV. The unit opens onto a covered patio with private braai facilities and an outdoor dining area.
Amber and Ruby are located on the upper level, each accommodating 3 guests. Both units are furnished with a queen-size bed and a single bed and feature en-suite bathrooms fitted with a bath, shower, toilet, and washbasin.
Guests staying in Amber and Ruby share access to a communal living area, kitchenette, and balcony with outdoor seating. The kitchenette is equipped with an air fryer, microwave, toaster, crockery, and cutlery, while each unit includes its own fridge and kettle. Please note that these units do not include braai facilities.
Secure parking is available behind a closed gate, with shared access to the garden and parking area. Wi-Fi is available at an additional cost of R50 cash on arrival. The units are not serviced daily; however, for stays longer than 4 days, fresh towels are provided mid-stay, along with a light floor clean.
